Producers from the Terra Madre network from all Balkan countries will introduce their unique produce to the public. Visitors will also be able to assist to art shows and happening for the kids. Friday July 16 10.00 am to 12.00 am Taste workshop for kids The art of making bread explained to children by great artisan producers. (Free Event) Market Area 11.30 am to 1.00 pm Balkan cheeses, hidden treasures Bulgaria The Balkan Peninsula is the home of outs¬tanding cheeses, often unknown even to its inha¬bitants. Taste these incredible products and enjoy the taste of traditions that have survived through centuries to nowadays. A journey into one the most delicious Bulgarian contribution to world’s cuisine. (free event) Market Area 11.30 am to 1.00 pm Plants and Food A unique opportunity to taste honeys and pre¬serves from throughout the Balkans, served with herbal lemonades and vegan food. Proceeds will finance Slow Food Bulgaria’s food education project in schoools. She will demonstrate her art to turn pumpkins, watermelons and other simple fruits and vegeta¬bles into exquisite pieces of art.
