Carlo Petrini at the FAO in Rome

Slow Food founder, Carlo Petrini, was at the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Rome on December 3 for a presentation of the book: "Quinoa in the Kitchen" The new book is the outcome of the ongoing collaboration between FAO and Slow Food, and was jointly presented by Jose Graziano da Silva, Director-General of FAO. The publication, translated into Italian and English, offers a selection of recipes using quinoa prepared by world-renowned chefs, recounting the history and culture of this "super food" of the Andes. The United Nations declared 2013 the International Year of Quinoa. The event was broadcast live via webcast. You can watch it here: http://www.fao.org/webcast/
