Our Campaigns


Since the official launch of Slow Food's raw milk campaign, national associations, convivia and members have fought for the right to consume and produce raw milk and cheeses produced from raw milk, battling against over-zealous hygiene rules and regulations imposed by their governments.

Through raising awareness about quality local raw milk products and lobbying governments to allow their sale and distribution, the Slow Food network is fighting for the freedom of consumers to exercise choice over what they eat, and for the rights of cheesemakers to produce quality cheeses from raw milk.
