Slow Fish in Action
Informing Consumers
Slow Food has always prioritized direct contact with its main public: conscientious consumers. They can powerfully influence the market, and policy, as awareness about certain issues spreads. In effect, they partner with small-scale producers, becoming co-producers.
This is why the association is stepping up its awareness-raising about responsible food, and fish in particular, without ever losing sight of the gastronomic aspect.

In this section, we'll be celebrating all the men and women in our networks: fishermen and fisherwomen, fish farmers, cooks, consumers, journalists, educators, volunteers, convivium members and many more, who are all taking big or small steps towards producing and consuming fish responsibly.
